Dear Ingrid & Kimie,
Congratulations! What a marvellous progress! I believe ‘The Intercultural Communication: A Critical Introduction’ will benefit more Japanese readers and I’m expecting to hear more good news in future. Hopefully I should aim to be a good Myanmar speaker first before it could be introduced into the ‘Asian Last Frontier’
What a commendable achievement. “The Intercultural Communication: A Critical Introduction” deserves to be translated into other languages. I have spoken to students of Intercultural communication at Upenn about the work and they have greatly appreciated its contextualized discussions of issues.
I congratulate Professor Piller and Dr. Kimie for this great intellectual contribution. Just a passing comment on translation: I have a feeling that its potential for teaching foreign languages have been greatly minimized. I need to understand it.
Sincerely Yours,
Khan
